Hi I’m Steven. I’m a third generation baker and I love what I do. After working extensively in the baking industry Tracy and I decided to come here because we love Raumati Beach and we love the feel of the Village community.

What makes me different from a lot of other bakers is my focus on quality ingredients. We are not just a pie shop. I regard baking as a skill. I make my products from scratch and I use high quality ingredients which you can taste.

You’ll notice the difference when you bite into some of my crunchy sourdough bread or when you enjoy a slice or tasty pie. In fact many of my customers reckon we make the best pies on the Kapiti Coast. The place absolutely fills up at lunch time and sometimes it pays to get in a bit early.

We have an extensive range of slices, rolls, pies and cakes, which caters for the whole market. We get everybody from school kids through to local businesses and professionals. People keep coming back because of the taste, value for money and quality of product.

We have a great relationship with our customers. You get to know what they like after a while and we often keep items aside for people to make sure they get what they like when they come in.

The business started out small and it's really taken off for us to the point where I’ve had to hire another baker to keep up with the demand.
