Kapiti Bowling Club
The Kapiti Bowling Club was founded in 1949 and currently has 124 members. The Bowling Club offers two synthetic bowling greens and a large club house. It is located at the northern end of the Marine Gardens and there is plenty of parking available. It is very popular with its members and every weekend (weather permitting) you will find the bowling club abuzz with games. Members encourage the younger generation and there are regular visits from the local schools and college. Many tournaments are hosted during the year with visiting clubs. Within close proximity to the bowling green is the Shopping Village and accommodation is available directly across the road at the Raumati Sands Resort. The Bowling Club is within easy walking distance of Raumati Beach and the Raumati Pools.
